​​I'm Jenny Bakker,with over 28 years of industry experience, I've advised more than 30 founders across B2B, B2C, and business services. Owned two successful agencies and worked with blue-chip brands, (Pepsico, Durex, Campari, Unilever, Red Bull, Barclay's and more).

 

But I have also spent much of my career trying to survive systems that were never designed for systems-thinkers. I’ve seen what poor management does to people, how it erodes confidence, silences creativity, and leaves capable, good humans doubting themselves long after they leave the room.

I’ve immigrated twice, changed careers, built businesses, worked across countries and industries, and experienced firsthand that overwhelm is often driven not only by work itself, but by prolonged adaptation, masking and the complexity of navigating identity within a fast-moving world.

I’ve lived it.
And I’ve watched others live it too.

Today, my work has evolved into change support for individuals and organisations so that our children,  don’t grow up fluent in inclusion at school, only to be unlearned in the workforce.

Why Neuro-Affirmative
coaching at work 

Coaching Canary celebrates neurodiversity in the same way we value biodiversity in nature. 

Different minds bring different ways of thinking, solving problems, creating systems and seeing opportunities that others may miss. But being neurodivergent at work isn't just about strengths.

Many professionals spend years wondering why they're constantly exhausted, overwhelmed, underperforming, masking, or questioning their confidence. Too often, these experiences are interpreted as personal shortcomings rather than useful information.

Your sensitivy isn't something to overcome.

It's something to understand.

I am certified in Coaching Neurodiversity at Work, supporting self-identified, self-diagnosed and formally diagnosed professionals with ADHD, AuDHD, autism, dyslexia and other neurodivergent profiles. My coaching also considers executive functioning differences, workplace systems, communication styles and sustainable ways of working, helping you find clarity and confidence.
